Mendelssohn - Wedding March

Written by German Romantic composer Felix Mendelssohn as incidental music for Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1842.

KS1/2 idea; a good example of music for particular purpose, as it is widely known and used for weddings to this day. Often played on the church organ but this is a wonderful full orchestra version, great for pupils to identify brass, string and percussion instrument sounds.
